Dear visitors, we bring you the answers to most frequently asked questions, that are often asked on FB page related to the convention and getting a tattoo. We hope you will find information you’re looking for, and for all additional questions feel free to ask us in the inbox!
CAN I BOOK IN FOR A TATTOO ON THE CONVENTION?
Of course, however you don’t book in with us organizers, but with the tattoo artist you wish to have your tattoo done. On a daily basis we present artists that will be participating in this year’s convention, and the whole list of artists may be found on our website on the link http://rijekatattooexpo.com/artisti/ . You choose the artist you want and contact him/her in their inbox, so you directly agree with them regarding the appointment, the price, and all other details. Make sure you book in on time!
ARE THE TATTOO PRICES CHEAPER ON THE CONVENTION?
The tattoo prices are decided by the artists themselves, RTE team does not influence or participate in the creation of prices. It is best if you choose one or several artists you are interested in, get in touch with them directly with your inquiry and then ask for the price of the tattoo you’d wish to have done. In the end, you choose the artist that suits you best and arrange your appointment.
I WANT TO TATTOO (A MOTIF) ON (A PART OF THE BODY). WHAT’S THE PRICE AND WHEN CAN I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Rijeka Tattoo Expo is not a tattoo studio, but a three-day event that brings together tattoo artists from many different countries. For all questions regarding tattoos please get in touch with the tattoo artist of your choosing directly.
CAN I ARRANGE GETTING A TATTOO AT THE CONVENTION WITHOUT HAVING AN APPOINTMENT MADE IN ADVANCE?
Some artists will be available for walk-in tattooing, but that does not guarantee you’ll get the appointment you want straight away. Walk-in option is usually available for smaller tattoos, which means if you wish to have, for example, a whole arm done, you should have your term defined way earlier. Still, if you want to arrange for it at the convention, we suggest you to come the first day of the convention, as early as possible, to make an appointment with the artist of your choosing for the following two days. Those artists that have free appointments usually post that in the event 9th Rijeka Tattoo Expo (coming soon).
I WANT TO BE A MODEL AT THE CONVENTION…
Being a model at the convention does not mean your tattooing is free. It may also be the case, but it usually isn’t, since everything depends on the tattoo artists themselves. We as organizers of the convention do not receive applications for tattoo models, but you approach tattoo artists directly for that.
HOW MUCH IS THE TICKET FOR RIJEKA TATTOO EXPO AND WHERE CAN THEY BE BOUGHT?
One-day ticket can be bought at the price of 30,00 kn, and the festival or all-three-day ticket can be bought at the price of 50,00 kn. Tickets will be available for purchase exclusively from the first day of the convention, at the entrance of the Sports Hall Kostrena. When purchasing your ticket, make sure you mention you want a three-day ticket.
WHAT ARE THE WORKING HOURS OF THE CONVENTION?
The working hours of Rijeka Tattoo Expo are: Friday from 12pm to 10pm. Saturday from 10am to 10pm. Sunday from 10am to 8pm.
WHEN IS THE PROGRAM OF RIJEKA TATTOO EXPO GOING TO BE ANNOUNCED?
The program for Rijeka Tattoo Expo will be announced soon, or at the beginning of November at latest. You will be able to find it on our website and on social networks.
CAN I COME TO THE RIJEKA TATTOO EXPO WITH A CHILD?
Of course. Rijeka Tattoo Expo works really hard, year by year, to enrich the follow-up entertaining program, so for the last few years we also have a kids day, on Sunday, when we offer various fun contents, but also workshops for kids. More information on that is coming soon, so keep track of our posts on our Facebook page.
HOW CAN I GET TO THE SPORTS HALL KOSTRENA?
If you are coming to the Rijeka Tattoo Expo by bus from Rijeka, you can find the bus timetable on the link https://www.autotrolej.hr/att/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/linje-272929a_16-01-2017.pdf for the busses 10 and 10a, which go to Kostrena. We suggest you to take the bus 10a since the bus stop is right in front of the Sports Hall Kostrena where the convention will be held. You also may come by busses 27 and 29 which have a joint bus stop at the main road, just behind the Sports Hall Kostrena, and from then you have a 2 minutes walk to the Sports Hall, which can be seen almost from the bus stop itself. The line 10 is also a line you may take, but it’s the least convenient one since it goes by the upper road so you’ll have to get off right at the church, where the bus stop is, and then walk back some 200 metres and then go southward to the Sports Hall at the first turning on the left. To conclude, it’s best if you catch 10a, or 27 and 29.
If you’re arriving by your own car, Sports Hall Kostrena has its own free parking lot! In case there are no parking spaces left, the nearest parking is in front of the school, which is next to the Sports Hall. Everything is within a few steps’ reach. The address of the Sports Hall Kostrena is Žuknica bb, 51221 Kostrena.
